These words “Thy Word is a lamp to my feet,” are taken from the one hundred and fifth verse of Psalm 119, and express conviction that eternal guidance is found in God’s Holy Word as we encounter it in the Bible.
Illustrating God’s word is a scroll, bearing the Hebrew word, “Scripture” with a torch symbolizing the “lamp to my feet.”
The Greek letters Alpha and Omega, “the Beginning and the End” as stated in Revelation 1:8,11; 21:6; 22:13, are used to signify that God is eternal.
